桃の節句
the girls' festival
孫男子雛は仕舞ひしままとなり
Hina dolls remain in the warehouse ;
grandsons only
老いて女桃の節句に心浮く
a woman despite her old age ;
the girls' festival excited her
雛流すウーマンリブの昔あり
those were the days of womens' liberaration a long time ago ;
the floating hina-dolls on the river
桃の花矯めるに余る真直かな
curving peach branches with fingers ;
too straight to do
菜の花の黄色黄緑端麗に
rape blossoms in yellow and in yellowish green ;
gracefully

ふと見上ぐ春三日月や愛薄き
a sudden look up at spring crescent ;
starved for affection
金剛の霞を纏ふビルのまち
enveloped in spring mist ;
the town of tall buildings in the Kongo mountains
春の闇行先探す救急車
the ambulance EMT looking for a hospital to carry a patiant to ；
darkness in spring
堤防の野焼か遠き薄煙
a bank burning, I think ;
a distant view of smoldering

卒業
卒業す第二ボタンを貰ひけり
the second button of his school uniform I got ;
graduated
一列に拍手で送る卒業子
graduates in a line ;
a send-off with applause of the remainder
コロナ禍の卒業保護者一名と
one parent for one student under the spread of covid19;
permission to atttend graduation ceremony
卒業歌我が師の恩を歌はざる
songs for recent graduation ceremony ;
no lyrics to express thanks to teachers
