やつとこさ乗り越え来たる初日の出

一月はまだシンガポール旅行で興奮気味でした。二月、三月、少しずつ豪華客船、中国武漢、と怪しい雰囲気になり、五月にとうとう緊急事態宣言。夫婦二人、マスクを作ったり、空いてそうな時間に外へ出たり、なんとか息をしてきました。
九月、十月は、もとに戻り比較的自由でしたが、夫の趣味の将棋と陶芸のクラブも私の俳句の句会も開かれぬまま、また次の緊急事態になりつつあります。
今年は、初詣に遠出はせず、コロナ終息しますようにと、近所の小さい神社にお参りして祈ることにします。

A Happy New Year !
In January last year, I was on the journey to Singapore and in a state of excitement.
In February and March, a strange atmosphere was coming from Wuhan, China, or from a luxury liner.
In May, Japanese government made an announcement of emergency.
My huzband & I were breathing somehow, putting on handmade masks, going out in clear zones and time.
In September and October we were released to relatively free conditions, but we could not make the reopening schedules of my huzband's hobby gatherings, a shogi club and a pottery class. It was the same to my Haiku meetings.
Now we are getting in the 3rd peak of COVID-19 epidemic
My huzband & I, instead of going far, will pay the New Year's first visit to the little shrine in the neighbourhood and will pray for a rapid approach to the end of COVID-19 epidemic.
